On 24 – 25 April 2025, SDTR has successfully hosted its 2025 Annual Crew Conference in Qingdao. Centered on the theme “Grateful for Eight Years Together, Sailing into a New Journey”, the event gathered leading industry experts, partners, and outstanding seafarers from both home and abroad to discuss industry trends, conduct specialized training, and share experiences.

SDTR Marine is pleased to announce that the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has awarded ‘Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) Premium’ status to the company. 

On 27 September 2024, SDTR Marine continues its support for the 39th Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) Gala Dinner, serving as a sponsor to help achieve carbon neutrality. 

On 3 September 2024, as part of our CSR Day this year, SDTR’s employees and their families joined forces with Waterway Watch Society for a Pedal Boat Clean-Up, clearing litter in Marina rivers to help conserve Singapore’s precious water resources.

On 16 April 2024, SDTR Marine forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CCS, igniting a partnership dedicated to fostering collaboration in the development of comprehensive solutions on greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction in the maritime industry.

On 16 January 2024, SDTR Marine and DNV entered a Joint Development Project (JDP) to conduct a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) feasibility study for our 85,000 DWT Kamsarmax bulk carrier.

14th December 2023 marks another important milestone in SDTR’s journey towards a sustainable maritime industry. SDTR is collaborating with Cargill to pioneer a trial voyage, using Biofuel B24 VLSFO for her vessel MV SDTR Dora in Singapore. This is our collective effort to reduce carbon footprint and greenhouse gases within the maritime sector.

In line with SDTR's efforts towards environmental corporate responsibility, SDTR has participated in the OneMillionTrees movement, which is a key pillar under the Singapore Green Plan 2030. The movement aims to transform Singapore into a City in Nature through the planting of a million more trees across Singapore till 2030.

On 13th October 2023, at Makati Diamond Residences Hotel in Manila, SDTR partnered with Synergy in hosting SDTR's Officer Seminar 2023 for her seafarers. The event had a resounding success and was attended by twenty-nine officers from Philippines and China, running SDTR vessels; and distinguished guests from the industry.
