SDTR Marine Advances Decarbonization Efforts with Successful B30 Biofuel Bunkering for MV Shandong Fu Yi
Taking a step towards a greener horizon, SDTR Marine has successfully completed the bunkering of B30 Biofuel (VLSFO 0.5% Sulphur B30) in Singapore for her vessel MV Shandong Fu Yi, on 1 November 2025. This milestone reflects our continued commitment to building a more sustainable future for the shipping industry.
This biofuel bunkering and consumption project was carried out based on the charterer’s initiative, with SDTR Marine coordinating closely throughout the entire process — from technical preparations and safe bunkering operations to ensuring smooth execution.
The adoption of biofuel represents a tangible way to reduce lifecycle carbon emissions compared to conventional marine fuels. This initiative underscores SDTR Marine’s ongoing efforts to support the International Maritime Organization (IMO) greenhouse gas reduction targets and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable maritime industry.
