SDTR Pedal Boat Clean-Up Day
On 3 September 2024, as part of our CSR Day this year, SDTR’s employees and their families joined forces with Waterway Watch Society for a Pedal Boat Clean-Up, clearing litter in Marina rivers to help conserve Singapore’s precious water resources.
As they pedaled along, participants gained a firsthand understanding of the impacts of litter on our waters and the surrounding wildlife. Every piece of trash collected was a reminder of the small but significant role each of us plays in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our waterways.
Water conservation is crucial in Singapore, a nation that relies heavily on its limited water resources. By keeping our waters clean, we can protect the delicate balance that supports both human life and biodiversity in the region.
