SDTR 2021 Green House Gases (GHG) Emission Report
As part of SDTR Marine Pte Ltd journey towards a green environment, we have completed our SDTR 2021 Green House Gases (GHG) emission report. The GHG report encompass both her fleet of vessels and the Company’s GHG emission levels. The GHG report is further verified by China Classification Society that the report is prepared in accordance to ISO 1406-1 and ISO 14064-3 standards. This is to reassure internal and external parties that the carbon footprint of SDTR is accurate, complete and compliant with international recognized GHG reporting standards.

In
2015, the global community came together and signed an international treaty on
climate change or more commonly known as the Paris Agreement. The agreement set
out a global framework to avoid dangerous climate change by limiting global
warming to well below 2 Degree Celsius and pursuing efforts to limit it to 1.5 Degree
Celsius. This has also spur IMO to set a target to reduce carbon emissions per
transport work of at least 40% and a reduction in total GHG emissions of at
least 50% by 2050
Being part of a globally responsible shipping fraternity and as part of SDTR’s mission to be a socially responsible shipping company, we have joined the Call to Action of Getting to Zero Coalition. SDTR truly believes and support the decarbonization of the shipping industry. One of our milestones for the future is to design and build more energy efficient vessels, via optimizing the operation efficiency of a vessel and using greener fuel, reducing carbon emissions as part of our decarbonization responsibility. This GHG report is part of our journey, towards IMO 2030 and 2050 goals.
