SDTR awarded the "Business as a Force For Good" award

On 2 March 2023, SDTR Marine Pte Ltd was awarded the “Business As A Force For Good” award for corporates in Singapore by INSEAD Alumni Association Singapore. This award is given to Singapore-based companies who have:

• Demonstrated thought-leadership with respect to “Business as a Force for Good” (BAFG),
• Created a vision, mission statement and strategy clearly demonstrating their BAFG commitment,
• Developed corporate social responsibility best practices,
• Achieved remarkable economical results and meaningful societal impact to the BAFG initiatives including but not limited to Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Sustainability.

SDTR was judged on:

• The use of innovative solutions to particular issues,
• Breadth of impact on a community,
• Substantial sustainability mission and vision put in practice.

This is a testament of SDTR’s efforts in being part of a global shipping fraternity and as part of SDTR’s mission to be a socially responsible shipping company, to decarbonize and to give back to the community. Building today for a future tomorrow.
