Steel Cutting for 85,000 DWT Kamsarmax

On November 6, 2019, the Steel Cutting Ceremony marks the start of SDTR Marine’s 85,000 DWT project, with the first of ten ships being built by DSIC Shan Haiguan Shipyard.

The 85,000 DWT series project is between SDTR Marine’s bareboat charter arrangement with AVIC Leasing. The vessels are the latest type of KAMSARMAX ships, which meets IMO NOx Tier III requirements, with Shallow draft and it has more grain capacity.
